Practising law for almost twenty years, Megan started Macedon Ranges Family Law in 2013 with a clear vision – through authentic and consistent legal advice, she wanted to ensure every client felt heard, valued, and supported; enabling people to plan their future with confidence.
With an open mind and tenacious drive, Megan focuses on sensible and cost-effective solutions for her clients – empowering them with knowledge, alleviating stress, and helping them through some of toughest times of their lives.
Bringing a refreshing dose of warmth, insight, and support to family law, Megan talks a language you understand - connecting you with information and championing your needs and rights. A respected mentor and deeply involved in the local community she loves, Megan is passionate about achieving the greatest in client outcomes.

There are few law professionals with a deeper level of knowledge, competence, and compassion as Linda. Engaged in family law for most of her professional life, Linda dived straight into the legal field after completing her law degree, gaining valuable experience in both private practice and community legal centres.
Linda understands navigating clients through some of the most significant changes in their lives can be both a challenging and rewarding process. It takes being a good listener and a great communicator – cutting out the jargon, being concise, and going in to bat when it counts.
After relocating from Queensland, Linda and her family have called the Macedon Ranges home for many years now. Leading with integrity and representing everything you could hope for in a family lawyer, Linda is authentic, straightforward, and armed with all the resources and expertise you need.

Suzanne Carey-Thomas

After devoting the early part of her professional career to Nursing and Midwifery, Suzanne fulfilled her ambition to practice law – working with clients in a number of prominent private and community centres before joining Macedon Ranges Family Law in 2021. Heading up the Wills and Estates department whilst also offering sound advice in matters of Family Law and Family Violence, there is no second guessing Suzanne’s ability and genuine passion for human care.
With a lifetime of experience that speaks volumes about her reliability and dexterity, Suzanne is as capable as they come and a lawyer we just know you’ll want advocating for you.

For nearing on two decades, Heidi has immersed herself in the world of law. After spending the first half of her professional career in commercial law, Heidi sought a deeper connection with her clients - which is why she was drawn into family law with a firm that aligns with her own core values.
Heidi connects all the dots at Macedon Ranges Family Law – she is the first person you’ll see when you walk in the door, and the first person you’ll speak with when you call. And with an enviably warm and calm nature, there is no greater person in client care. Responsive, personable, and exceptionally efficient, Heidi is responsible for everything from legal document preparation to practice coordination.
Living locally with her young family, Heidi thrives in her local community and is a valued member of our team.
